aol logo AOL is a leading ISP in the UK, offering home broadband packages that are great for the family with good security and parental controls. Packages also include a free wireless router.

AOL is currently offering a free Dell laptop worth over £500 to customers signing a two-year broadband contract. This comes with Microsoft Vista Home Basic Edition, 1 GB RAM, 80 GB Hard Drive, Intel Celeron 540 Processor, Wi-Fi Wireless Ready a DVD rewriter and a 15.4 inch screen.
bt logo BT broadband provide connection speeds of up to 8Mb, and when their 21 Century Network rolls out in 2008 customers will be able to enjoy speeds of up to 24Mg. BT Total Broadband Option 1 comes with BT’s own internet security, and Options 2 and 3 come with a free Norton security package.
be logo Be Broadband was bought by the O2 group in 2006. Be is the provider of the UK’s fastest broadband service – at speeds of up to 24Mb. They offer a free wireless router, and subscribers to their Be Unlimited and Be Pro packages can cancel their service at any time (with three month’s notice) without incurring a cancellation fee.
claranet logo Claranet was founded in 1996 and has become one of the most successful independent ISPs, providing high speed, no frills internet for businesses and home office users, with speeds up to 30Mb.
bulldog logo Founded in 2000 and now part of the Pipex Group, Bulldog Broadband offers some of the fastest connection speeds (between 8Mb and 16Mb). You can cater for your own downloading and speed requirements with a mix of pay-as-you-go and pay monthly packages. Bulldog customers can also augment their broadband with a telephone deal.
